Les Brown

Brown is also the author of the highly acclaimed and successful books, Live Your Dreams and It's Not Over Until You Win, and former host of The Les Brown Show, a nationally syndicated daily television talk show which focused on solutions and not on problems.
Aubry Stone President, CA Black Chamber of Commerce Chair, US Black Chamber, Inc.
Mr. Stone is currently the President/CEO of the California Black Chamber of Commerce (CBCC) and Director of the California Black Chamber Foundation. He is the founding chair of the US Black Chamber based in Washington DC. Appointed by the Governor, he currently serves as a California Commissioner for Economic Development. He aggressively led the California Black Chamber in such public policy issues as: Prop 187, co-authored the 9th circuit injunction against implementation of Prop 209, publicly advocated against Brown-fields, the urban environment, insurance redlining the inner city impact of bank acquisitions and mergers and leads the charge of new and emerging markets.
Aubry's single-minded focus is the creation of individual and community wealth through small business growth development and sustainability. He is currently the Chairman of the National African American California Chamber of Commerce and also serves on the California Regional Community Utilities Diversity Council, the Citibank Regional Community Board, the Pfizer National Minority Business Board, the California Small Business Advisory Board, the Cal-Trans Small Business Board, and is a member of the Greenlining Coalition. He has served on the boards of the NAACP, Sacramento Black Chamber of Commerce, the Mayor's Economic Development Council, the District Attorney's Community Relations Board and the State Fair Minority council.

Commissioner Janea Scott CA Energy Commission
Janea A. Scott was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown in February 2013. She fills the Public Member position on the five-member Commission where four of the five members by law are required to have professional training in specific areas - engineering or physical science, environmental protection, economics, and law. Prior to her appointment, Ms. Scott worked at the Department of the Interior in the Office of the Secretary as the Deputy Counselor for Renewable Energy and as the Special Assistant to the Counselor to the Secretary. In that role, Ms. Scott worked on facilitating and implementing Secretary Ken Salazar's priorities for the Department, including establishing an enduring program for renewable energy on our nation's public lands. Before joining the Interior team in April of 2009, Ms. Scott worked on clean air issues as a senior attorney at Environmental Defense Fund - a non-profit organization that partners with businesses, governments, and communities to find practical environmental solutions - in both the New York and Los Angeles offices. Ms. Scott was an AmeriCorps member working at the San Francisco Urban Service Project from 1996 until 1997. Ms. Scott received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Colorado Law School and her Masters and Bachelors of Science in Earth Systems from Stanford University.
